EQ: Was WWII preventable through diplomacy during the 1938 Munich Crisis?
During the 1918 Munich Crisis, WWII was actually not preventable. This is because of Hitler's determination to take over the world. During his speech, he shows that his plan is well thought out and he knows exactly what he wants to do. Also, it is obvious that he wanted to achieve what he wanted through violence and war. Plus, the German army had been secretly building up in size and soon was as powerful as it had been before WWI. With Hitler's crazy plans and ambitions, there were little the other nations could've done to prevent the war from happening, it was simply a matter of time.
